Worship Ministry

At SCC, Jesus Christ is the focus of our worship. We offer ourselves to God, our Creator, Provider, and Savior through songs of praise and worship, but more importantly, by how we live our lives. Our teams thrive on creativity, excellence, and community! Our hope is to steward the gifts God has given us well, and be a part of something bigger than ourselves.

Musicians & Vocalists
SCC Worship Teams are unique because of our three distinctly different gatherings. Whether you are gifted in contemporary worship music, singing with a choir, rock & roll or traditional hymns, there may be an avenue for you to serve!

Sound
Do you have an ear for good sound? The sound team might be a place for you. We are constantly looking for people with a trained ear and a servant’s heart. Some experience is helpful. Training is provided to all new sound team members.

Media/Lights
The media team runs all media that flashes across the screen, including the words during worship, videos, and the Pastor’s PowerPoint. They are also in charge of running our lights. Some computer experience is necessary, and you should also be a good multi-tasker. Training is provided to all new media team members.

Rehearsal Times*:
First Gathering
Choir Rehearsal - Thursdays, 7:00 pm
Band Rehearsal - Sundays, 8:00 am
Second Gathering
Band Rehearsal - Sundays, 8:45 am
Third Gathering
Band Rehearsal - Sundays, 4:30 pm

*Team members are required to participate in all relevant rehearsals for the Gathering they are scheduled for.
